Profiles are knurled with the compound grooves facing down. Mainly used in the combined knurl/assembly process. Optionally CNC controlled.

Function

Knurling of the composite zone in aluminum composite profiles (thermal break) using 2 hardened special knurling wheels.

Construction

◾Machine stand with machined table surface

◾2 knurled heads with gear motor and toothed belt drive on precision guide carriage, horizontally and vertically adjustable

◾2 support rollers with Vulkollan coating on precision guide carriage, horizontally and vertically adjustable independently of each other

◾2 support rollers with Vulkollan coating, ball bearing, ø80, L = 320 [mm]

◾Vertical guide rollers with Vulkollan coating

◾Digital position indicators for all adjustments

◾Frequency converter for adjustable feed speed

◾Optional axis control (CNC)

◾Optional bar clamps for direct bar mounting
